Who we are and why we are here

We are Clean Save Restoration, a family-owned, IICRC-certified fire and smoke mitigation company based in Kent, on the other side of the state. When the fires hit Spokane in early August, we made a decision: this is where our experience is needed, so this is where we went. Our crew is out here now, working in the Spokane area and helping the surrounding community recover.

What we do

• Fire and smoke damage assessment - a room-by-room evaluation of what is salvageable, documented with photos and readings for your insurance claim.
• Soot and smoke residue mitigation - professional removal from structure and surfaces. Soot is acidic and keeps damaging materials the longer it sits.

• Insurance documentation in Xactimate - the same platform your adjuster uses. We document the full scope so your claim reflects the real damage.

We are a mitigation company. We do not do rebuild construction, and we will not pretend to. What we will do is get your structure cleaned, stabilized, and fully documented so the rebuild - and the claim behind it - starts from solid ground.

If your home was affected: read this before you sign anything

After every major fire, out-of-town contractors flood the area, knock on doors, and push contracts on people who are exhausted and desperate to move forward. Some are legitimate. Some are not. However you feel about hiring us, please protect yourself:

• Verify every contractor's Washington license at the state's L&I verification site - it takes one minute. Ours is #CLEANSR742DL, and we would rather you check it than take our word.
• Do not sign an assignment-of-benefits or a large contract on your doorstep. A legitimate company will give you time to read, compare, and call your insurance carrier first.
• Document before you disturb. Photograph everything, inside and out, before cleanup starts. Your claim depends on the record.
• You choose your contractor - not your insurance company. Carriers may suggest a preferred vendor, but the decision is legally yours. Our plain-English insurance guide explains how the process works.
• Wait for clearance before re-entering a burned structure. Structural damage, hot spots, and air quality are real hazards. Nothing in your house is worth more than you.
